Do you have boating safety questions you have wanted to ask but didn’t know whom to ask? Have you considered but never taken a boating safety course? Now there is a solution right here at your own yacht club. EYC is offering safe boating classes taught by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary this fall.

Sailing and Seamanship and Boating Skills and Seamanship will beoffered from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning on September 3 for 14 sessions ending on October 6. These comprehensive safety courses are really about improving your fun on the water. For beginners as well as seasoned boaters, they satisfy the state boating safety requirements. Many of your questions will be answered, but more importantly, you have knowledgeable boaters who can answer your questions or find the answer.

There are a few seats reserved for EYC members in each course. To qualify for these seats, you must register before August 27. Click here for details about  Sailing and Seamanship. Click here for details about  Boating Skills and Seamanship

Welcome to EYC

Not your traditional blue blazer club, EYC is built on activity, on the water and ashore. Our members are involved in a diverse range of boating activities, supported by social events and strong camaraderie. Known for our million-dollar view of the Severn River and Annapolis, EYC also is recognized in the Chesapeake Bay region and beyond as a club capable of managing major championship regattas, Friday night Beer Can races, and everything in between, as well as providing great social networking for cruising, parties, and charity events. It’s all about life on the water, and all about fun.
