November 1, 2017
As a follow up to last month’s article you may recall that we were in the process of replacing the pipes in the marina used for fire suppression. That work is complete and we are very happy with the results. The new stainless steel pipes will have a significantly extended life over than the lines that they replaced which should save the club money and ensure a safe system for many years.
All of our FaceBook friends have surely noticed by now that the club posts its daily specials on our Facebook page every day of the week. In addition to the specials you might even find the occasional discount for those who utilize this club information source as a special treat! Thanks for staying connected to everything the most unique club in Annapolis has to offer.
Member Service Feedback
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all those members who have continued to offer feedback on your club experience with specific interest to the food and beverage operations. We remind you that we always love to hear first-hand of what has gone terrifically but those items that could be improved are also very valuable for us. Toward that end please remember to fill out a comment card and let us know how the experience you had in the dining, deck or bar went. I will follow up with a summary of the last month or two in next month’s article so keep them coming!
2017 Annual Meeting
Please clear your calendar to attend the EYC Annual Meeting when we vote on proposed bylaws changes, vote in the incoming Board and hear updates from all of the club’s committees. This year’s meeting will be held on Saturday, November 4th at the Annapolis Maritime Museum at 9am. Come early to hear presentations from the EYC Foundation and other interesting club news. Of course, many of you probably know the tug will follow the meeting at noon but you can bring your voting card back to the club anytime that afternoon or evening for a free cocktail.
Please be advised that the marina will undergo its annual winterization during the first week of November. Please plan appropriately and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
