Annual Marina Contracts
Annual marina contracts will be due on December 1, 2017 for the 2018 season. Please note that unless the club received word by that date the existing 2017 tenant would be committed to their slip for the 2018 season. If you missed that deadline please contact me immediately so that we can work to help you resolve the problem.
Member Service Feedback
Thanks again for all of the comments regarding menus and service from our membership. Your feedback is helping us shape the food and beverage program and continues to provide valuable information toward consistently exceeding member expectations. We hope you will come down to the club and enjoy some of our newest menu offerings for the winter update. The House Committee has asked us to maintain the current philosophies for the menu design but will be acquiring more data via comment cards and a member survey to help determine whether any broader changes are desired. We look forward to their direction and will do our best to accommodate the varied member preferences going forward.
2017 Annual Meeting
Thank you to all those members who attended the 2017 Annual Meeting at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. We were able to acquire a quorum and voted on many topics that will help successfully position the club for the future. A restructuring of initiation fees and assessment, an increase in the member cap and a dues increase were all voted on and approved. The countless hours of hard work and analysis from the board, finance committee and management were communicated in many town hall meetings throughout the year and are hopefully largely the reason for the success and the final crafting and direction of the bylaw changes. Of course, all of those groups are available to answer questions about the information behind the changes for those that may not have been able to attend or simply want a more in depth understanding.
Please be advised that the marina has now been winterized and the water is off. Spigots on the side of the building are still on for those that might need a quick water fix. In an emergency the club has sufficient hose length to reach the marina but if that need arises we ask that you please return the hose to the building rather than leave it crossing the yard or lawn to the marina.
All of our Facebook friends have hopefully noticed that EYC posts is specials daily on our EYC Facebook page. We hope this keeps everyone connected with the terrific EYC food offerings!
