Construction Update 6/15/12
Those of you watching the web cam have seen that the club is beginning to resemble what will be its finished form. The siding is going up and the front porch columns should be in soon. We are excited to be approaching another milestone, the installation of drywall. We anticipate rough in inspections next week and if all goes well we should be hanging drywall the following week. It may seem quiet from the outside but they have been moving along rapidly on the interior and it is looking terrific! We are also finalizing our equipment orders for the kitchen and bar and we currently have two BIG exhaust hoods sitting in what will be our dining room awaiting inspection before they can be hung in the kitchen.

We poured concrete on Thursday and although we lost a day to rain Wednesday everything was set without any issues and the framing has begun. This and next week will likely be the big WOW factor weeks since we will for the first time see the framing of the building. Next week the steel for the concrete deck will be put in place and we should see our new concrete upper deck poured in about two weeks.
March 3, 2012: Back from a short IT setback...
Demolition on our old friend (the clubhouse) is nearly complete which means (re)construction is almost upon us! If you haven't been checking out the webcam you should really do so soon. It provides a great vantage point to watch the day to day progress on your club. As you may have noticed the club is nearly gutted, the portico and back deck have been removed and the concrete around the structure is gone! We will be putting in footers to support the new structure next so keep an eye out for the progress.
February 2, 2012Although we are still awaiting the building permit for the clubhouse, I was told by a City representative that they are simply “removing staples, inserting amendments and re-stapling” and we should receive our much-sought-after paperwork next week. Keep your fingers crossed!
