2013 Commodore's Ball Menu
The 2013 Commodore's Ball Whole-House Party will feature an international theme at multiple serving stations throughout the building.
Visit Europe with serving stations inspired by Italy, France, Spain, and Vienna. Enjoy fruits of the sea creatively prepared with a sushi station and a Chesapeake Bay station. And then, of course, there's a carving station with beef tenderloin and potato croquettes.
Italy: A pasta festival featuring porcini agnolotti with wild mushrooms, surryanno ham, marscapone cheese, and truffle oil; rabbit sugo with polenta cake; and kale faro salad with lemoncello dressing and pommegrette.
France: Cheese, charcuterie, and pate, with roasted lives, pickled vegetables, bread, and more
Spain: Paella and small plates of garlic shrimp and other tapas
Chesapeake: Oyster raw bar, rockfish, and baked oysters
Vienna: Assorted mini-pastries, cakes, sliced fruits
Passed hors d’oeuvres including lamb chops, tuna, and smoked salmon
