Progress at Last
December 18, 2011We saw so much progress this week on so many fronts it is hard to keep track of it all. The silt fences were approved by the inspectors and the destruction began. All three houses disappeared by lunch time on Tuesday.

Movement at last! Bill "Sparky" Cusack's Race Committee Shed goes airborne in preparation for the start of serious demolition, early next week. The flagpole is down, both sheds have been relocated,
November 30, 2011It has taken us 5 long years, the work of Ken Malley, Carey Kirk and their committees, 5 separate Executive Boards, 7 votes of the Membership, 2 General Managers to get us here but we have arrived. We will see the first phase of our Land Development project start with the razing of the Paape and Erkmann Houses
December 2, 2011Well it's Friday and no sight of the bulldozers. I forgot to ask which Friday they were expected to be here. The permits are posted, the city's tree hugger has kissed them goodbye, all we are waiting for is the installation of silt fences.

Great News yesterday!The Club received the grading and demolition permits for the Paape and Erkmann properties. All that needs to be done is establish the tree protection zones and the sediment control boundaries to begin the work. We are meeting with the City today
