On the Water
Our Cruise Committee activities start in early spring with the Blessing of the Fleet and move into a variety of fun cruises: cocktails & munchies, wine tasting, baseball games, concerts, and (best of all) gunk-holing on a warm summer night with a full moon and good friends. One of the season’s highs is the traditional Gourmet Cruise. The cruisers are very active and are always looking for new places to go and things to do, and very often find them. When the wind blows chill on the Bay, activities move into the Clubhouse for seminars on maritime skills, convivial evenings of darts, trivia, or other games, and parties and pot-luck dinners with friends.
Did we mention the younger set? In addition to our active Junior sailing program, we also have monthly Family Movie Nights with a great kid-vid feature and special supper menu, plus the annual Easter Egg Hunt, a summer Ice Cream Social, fall Scarecrow-Building Party, and a holiday Gingerbread House Decorating Party, all geared to kids and grandkids.
