2012 marks the 30th annual Lights Parade here in Annapolis Harbor and, as always, we plan to have a great event for spectators and participants!
Special thanks go to our sponsors and advertisers. You will see listings for them on our site, which are linked to their websites. These businesses and organizations are providing invaluable support towards making this event a reality. Thanks to our participants, who come out and do an amazing job of transforming their watercraft (and docks and balconies) into holiday ornaments that light up our winter night.
A Note on Parking
The parking site for this year’s parade will be the garage at Park Place, 100 Westgate Circle. There will be signs on Rowe Boulevard and Taylor Avenue directing visitors to the garage. The City Shuttle will circulate every ten minutes from Park Place to downtown and from there back to Park Place until 2:30 AM. The Shuttle can be hailed anywhere along the route. It will be free of charge that day for all passengers.
Where to see the Parade?
The Lights Parade will take place along the Annapolis Spa Creek waterfront, below and above the bridge. For information on access points, check out the Parade Map page.
You may also view the parade from the decks of the Harbor Queen which will be decorated and be open to the public for perfect viewing of the parade and be in her normal slip at the end of City Dock from 5:30 - 8:30 pm on December 8, 2012.
Harbor Queen will remain dockside throughout the parade and the cost of admission is a donation to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Bring a can of food or other non-perishable item including food for pets and monetary donations ($5 recommended) to see the parade from Harbor Queen. A portion of the bar proceeds will also benefit the Food Bank.
