2012 marks the 22nd Santa Maria Cup and the 17th year the event has been hosted by Eastport Yacht Club. Santa Maria Cup (SMC) is an International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Grade 1 (highest) event that attracts top female competitors from around the world. Match racing is exciting to watch and we will all have the opportunity to watch Women's Match Racing on the big screen from the 2012 Summer Olympics. The Olympic Sailing Regatta for all classes will take place July 27 - August 12 from Weymouth and Portland, England about 120 miles southeast of London. The following twelve countries will compete in the Women's Match Racing Olympic event: Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the United States.

We look forward to welcoming many Olympic competitors along with other US and international standouts to the 2012 Santa Maria Cup. There are many public events scheduled as part of this "Celebrate Women in Sailing" week and we hope you will participate! Please note that many events require advanced registration and registration will be available through the individual event pages on this website. Pages will be added as regatta information if finalized so please check back.
