Well, the big day is just about here...BULLDOZERS ON PROPERTY.  As you probably already know we have the necessary demolition and grading permits but there are a couple more items that need to be resolved with regard to the silt fencing and the horticulturist before we can begin. Originally we were hoping it would be tomorrow (Friday 12/2) but it looks like we are still about a week away. The houses may fall down on their own between now and then, however, because we have stripped them to their bones and helped some local charities in the process.

The positive side of this delay means we will be able to host some of the upcoming events on site. The EYC Lights Parade will be the big event that will take place on the 10th here at the club. Spend the last Lights Parade here at the clubhouse with friends! Members are admitted free and may bring two guests ($10 admission for guests). Larry will also be putting together a great buffet for $15 a person, so come hungry. The annual meeting, holiday party and kids' gingerbread party on the 17th will also be held here at the "old" clubhouse. This will be the last big party at the club with a holiday/say goodbye to the club theme. This has the makings of a memorable event so mark your calendars now so you can say you were at the last big EYC party at the old clubhouse. Hope to see you there!
