Our OPEN BIC single handed sailing classes offer instruction for the intermediate sailor who is ready to step out of the Opti. This class focuses on advanced sailing skills including boat handling, mark rounding, starting, tactics, and tackling the race course. *Must have basic sailing experience. Our classes are for children ages 9-12 (60-120lbs).  Classes are offered both AM and PM for 3 weeks.

Costs: $355 Session 1/  $410 Session 2, includes t-shirt. Non EYC Members $75 registration fee per family.

Morning: 9 am - Noon OR Afternoon: 1 pm - 4 pm

Session 1 - June 24 - July 12 (Morning or Afternoon). No class July 4 and 5.

Session 2 - July 15 - August 2 (Morning or Afternoon)

How Do I Sign Up?

We have online signup this year. You can pay by check or credit card. If paying by check online, please mail in your with payment within 10 days of sign up to hold your spot. If we do not receive payment your spot may be forfeited.

When using our online system please be sure to enter all participants at one time under Student Information. There is no login process so you cannot go back and add an additional child once submitted. These can be added manually by our staff if needed. General Program Information, Release, and Medical Form

Once you have completed your registration please download the general program info including realease and medical forms. All forms must be returned no later than the 1st day of class.
