January 28, 2012: Lots going on at the Club this week. The trailers are in and the deck is almost finished. The plumbing was hooked up and things are moving right along. After the deck is finished there are a couple of more items that need to be installed before we get our final occupancy permit. Then it is time to "Occupy Juanitaville." Stay tuned for further details.

The Club saw its first Trailer Park Trivia night on Thursday. Five teams battled it out for top honors. When it was over, Alex Trebeck look alike??? Tobias Sullivan announced that one point separated the first and second place teams and there were three teams tied for third. It was all great fun! It is not to late to join us. Just show up at the bar Thursday night at 7:30 with three of your friends. If you don't have three friends just show up. We will put you on a team.

Just when I thought it was safe to come down to the Club Chili Meister Lee McMichael ran the Chili Cookoff. This year, salsa was added to the mix just in case you did not have enough intestinal distress.

Twelve teams put together one incredible display of gastronomic delights. There was something for everyone from Chicken chili, turkey chili, pork chili, smoked chili. Jay and Kathy Baldwin went so far as to make traditional chili con carne!
