Furthering the enjoyment of boating!

Beginner Learn-to-Sail Ages 16+

This six week evening class is taught in the CFJ, 2 students per boat and is open to members and nonmembers. The course focuses on fundamental small boat sailing skills including terminology, rigging and derigging, equipment stowage and care, personal safety, knots, safety on the dock and on the water, points of sail, small boat handling, right-of-way rules, capsize and man overboard procedures, and much more. Beginner course is offered on Wednesday night for 6 Evenings: 6 pm - Sundown. Cost: $195, includes textbook. Nonmembers include a $65 registration fee. Dates: June 29 - Aug 3.

Note: NOT recommended for Adults over 6’ 2” and 220lbs.

Private Lessons

Junior Fleet News

Waterfront Access Program

2016 EYC Junior Fleet is offering members watercraft access for a nominal fee. Our watercraft access program entitles use of our fleet of 4 adult and 4 child kayaks, 6 paddleboards, and 4 Sunfish, and 3 J-22 during the boating season as weather permits. Use of our Sunfish and J-22 sailboats is subject to preapproval. Visit our members only section for more details.
