'Oyster Feast' at Harris Crab House, Kent Narrows

Enjoy a delicious Sunday brunch, while featured speaker Jason Ruth, owner of Harris Seafood in Grasonville, explains how oysters are harvested in the Chesapeake Bay and the different markets that they supply, touching on the Oyster Recovery Project and much more.

Join EYC cruisers by boat or land yacht for a delicious and informative meal at Harris Crab House. An Oyster Buffet, featuring oysters (raw, steamed, and fried), veggies, pasta, and desserts begins at noon, with the speaker's presentation at 1 p.m. Please bring $35 cash/person and, if that's your fancy, plan for a cash bar as well. Space is limited, so reserve early. Final reservation deadline is Friday morning, April 26.

Dockage available at Mears Point Marina (max draft 5’8”, $2/ft plus electricity). Make your own reservations and be sure to say you're traveling with “EYC” and please log in to RSVP so we'll know you're coming!

Once you complete your registration for the event, consider this unique opportunity to travel to the Oyster Feast. Cap’n Mike Krissoff has offered to shuttle up to 16 passengers aboard his magnificent Markley 46 Full Moon on a first-come first-served basis. He’ll be leaving the dock at EYC at 10:00 AM and will return after the feast, by 4:00 PM. Reach out to Mike ([email protected]) and let him know you’re interested in riding along by 4/23. He’ll confirm by email with additional details, and by the way, there’s no charge for this adventurous portion of the Oyster Feast. Read more about Full Moon here.
