The Leukemia Cup Regatta is a racing series designed to raise funds for research to cure blood related cancers like leukemia and lymphoma.
It has raised over $60 million dollars since it began in Annapolis in 1992. In 2017, over 10,000 sailors around the country took part in raising funds and sailing for this important cause. The Annapolis Leukemia Cup is a CBYRA-sanctioned regatta held annually by the Eastport Yacht Club, Annapolis Yacht Club, Herrington Harbor Sailing Association, and Miles River Yacht Club to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Maryland Chapter.
