In addition to family-friendly programming from the House Committee, Junior Fleet, and Cruise & Rendezvous Activities, our EYC Family Committee plans a series of events tailored to the youngest members of EYC and their families.
One Friday each month during the school year brings Family Movie Night, a fun time for kids to enjoy supper and a movie while their parents have a chance to socialize across the hall. EYC's Friday night family movie nights continue on Friday, May 3. with a special treat: Parents are invited for a special pre-movie Happy Hour sponsored by the Family Committee!
Kids enjoy complementary dinner and a family friendly flick on the aft deck starting at 6 pm while parents can dine across the hall in the conference room. The May feature is "Moana." Free for kids, but your reservations are required to ensure there's enough food for all. (Be sure to let us know who will be there for Happy Hour as well as the movie!
Please note that Family Movie Night does not include babysitting services. Parents who don't stay for the movie themselves should plan to check on their kids frequently. These events are designed for kids roughly 4 to 10 years old. Older and younger kids are welcome, but should be interested in watching a family friendly movie and able to sit through one with little to no supervision.
Have a suggestion for a favorite film? Contact Courtney Jolley at email@example.com.
Other events for the younger set include the annual Easter Egg Hunt, a day of Family Fun in the summer, a Halloween costume party, and the enormously popular Children's Gingerbread House Building Party each December.
Our Just for Kids menu is available in the dining room and on the deck.
Please help us tailor our child-oriented events to things your family would enjoy. Have an idea? Contact the EYC Family committee at firstname.lastname@example.org, or come to a committee meeting on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m.
