Learn to Sail and Powerboat the Fun Way!

Summer 2024 Registration will open for Members on January 2nd at 9:30am at the link below. It will open for general registration on February 1st at 9am.

Registration is now fully open HERE!

Please note that this is a new website in use and may experience some growing pains. We are aware that certain non-members have been accidentally assigned tags to allow both access and discounts during this early registration period. Their registrations will remain in place unless capacity is reached through pure membership as this bug is no fault of their own, their cost will however be adjusted. We are working with Amilia support to rectify the rolls. If you have any other difficulty or confusion but are able to solve it, please reach out so that I may add it to my below tips section and to aid those who follow. If you are an EYC member but are unable to register your sailor or do not receive a discount at checkout, please contact me at [email protected]

Amilia Registration Tips
You will need to create an account for each Guardian/Adult in addition to your children. Please use the same email as your EYC Club account to properly grant access and discounts.
Information in both Adult and Child profiles must be edited then saved before clicking proceed. It will then save permanently and not need updating for additional purchases.
Insurance expiration may be entered as any date past this Summer if none is known or available for your plan.
Any sailor added to your account (as in not already assigned a family member # at the club) may need to be flagged as a Member by myself after creation to proceed until February 1st. Those who've come to previous Summers shouldn't face this issue.

The Eastport Yacht Club offers sailing and powerboating classes for kids 6 to 15 years and adults 16 and up. All classes are taught by US Sailing/Powerboating certified instructors with First Aid and CPR training, and subject to background checks. Our programs focus on safety and learning with an emphasis on FUN for beginners through advanced. The EYC Learn-to-Boat program uses Blue Dragon Prams, RS Zest, RS Fevas, and J-22s for sailing and the powerboat program uses Boston Whalers.

We also utilize our fleet of paddleboards and kayaks to expand the fun. The instructional approach used in our programs conforms with the American National Standards for on-water, skills-based instruction in entry-level recreational boat operation.

In addition to our national certifications we are also a certified camp with the State of Maryland. At Eastport Yacht club our mission to is provide the safe environment for all campers and we strive to adhere to the highest standards both at local, state, and national levels.
